Homegrown Food Festival- A Great Success

On the 23rd of June 2024, the annual Homegrown Food Festival took place, starting at 10 AM and concluding at 5 PM. The event was a tremendous success, drawing a large crowd who enjoyed the splendid sunshine, along with a variety of entertainment and food vendors.

The festival’s goal is to give the public an excellent opportunity to taste a wide array of locally produced foods, while also savouring a drink and the performances of local artists. Additional attractions included face painting, a children’s kitchen, and activities in the nearby Applegarth Park. The Homegrown Food Group, a team of volunteers, organised the event with the objective of connecting the people of Northallerton and its surroundings with the food grown in their own region.
