Love Northallerton Annual Pancake Race 2026

We are pleased to announce that our annual pancake race is back for another year. This year, the annual Pancake Race will happen on the 24th February, one week after Shrove Tuesday. It has been delayed by a week due to the half term and our relationship with the local schools.

As the first event of this year’s full program, the pancake race is a local community event that brings businesses and people together to celebrate. We encourage all businesses to participate in the race, as there is a chance to win a prize. Children from Applegarth School will run from 10:00 am to 10:20 am, followed by the main race, where businesses will compete against each other. There is also a prize for the best fancy dress.
