We at McBride Opticians opened our first practice in Northallerton in 1983.
In 1997, we expanded our reach by opening our York branch. We have over 30 years experience in optics. We offer a wide variety of frames and being an independent practice can offer almost any spectacle lens available in the UK, at very competitive prices.
We fit and supply various makes of contact lenses and work with the Local Primary Care Trust to provide free Low Vision Aids for the partially sighted.
As a ‘designated’ opticians, we regularly see patients that have been referred by local GP’s and other opticians.
Our friendly staff are always happy to show you the extensive range of frames and discuss your lens requirements.
