Annual Northallerton Pancake Race

We are pleased to announce that our annual pancake race is back for another year. This year, Shrove Tuesday falls on the 13th of February which coincides with the half-term break. Therefore, we have decided to delay the race by one week so that the students of Applegarth School can participate. The Pancake race will be held on the 20th of February at the Applegarth playing fields from 10 am to 11 am.

As the first event of this year’s full program, the pancake race is a local community event that brings businesses and people together to celebrate. We encourage all BID businesses to participate in the race as there is a chance to win a prize. Children from Applegarth School will run from 10:00 am to 10:20 am, followed by the main race where businesses will compete against each other. There is also a prize for the best fancy dress.
