Have your say! Northallerton Town Investment Plan
Town investment Plans identify and prioritise major projects and improvements that local communities and stakeholders want to see delivered in that town. The Council will then work with other partners to help deliver these projects, including making funding bids, such as to the Government and the Mayor for York and North Yorkshire. Some smaller projects may not require input from NYC and may be led by communities or the voluntary sector. Some projects may be delivered with the private sector.
The Town Investment Plans will focus on revitalising town centres, improving transport, creating new workspaces, and celebrating local heritage and culture. They will provide a coordinated approach to regeneration and investment, identifying potential projects that address local priorities, deliver real benefits for the towns and service centres they cover, as well as the broader area. The plans will help shape economic and social regeneration in each place, helping the Council and its partners to understand investment priorities and provide a structured focus for future business cases and investment decisions.
