An exciting new dinosaur event for Northallerton has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

But the good news is families will be able to enjoy a great day of prehistoric magic next summer, with Jurassic Northallerton rescheduled for Sunday 18 July 2021.

“We know how much families are looking forward to the dinosaurs and we can guarantee them a magnificent day out in July 2021,” says Graham Bell, manager of Northallerton Business Improvement District (BID), who are organising the event.

The BID is hopeful of being to stage its usual Christmas celebrations and is lining up a busy programme of events for next year, with Classic Car Sunday also set to return in April 2021 following its enforced postponement in 2020.

Also making a welcome return will be Home Front Sunday, a celebration of the wartime spirit, with a host of re-enactors and period vehicles. This summer’s event is also a victim of the pandemic lockdown.

Watch out for dates to be announced in due course, with guidelines about the staging of events awaited from the Government.
